How do I route new wires through door sockets?

    Anyone?

    Luke?

    Bueller?

I'm trying to get new 16 ga. speaker wire to the tweeters in the 'sail' pods. The stock wiring is all hacked to heck in the kick panel speaker cavity, so it's not salvageable.

    Help please.

David, if you pull the rubber boot back from the door jamb, you will see a hole in the molex connector...it is a simple thing to run through that and slide the wire through the boot, into the door. I use a pair of very long needle nose to do it.

If you want an easier, softer way, use silicone spray in the rubber boot.

      I used a coathanger.

Again, this is going to sound dirty, but - I can't find an open hole at the body-side of the bundle. At least I think can't. It appears as though wires are going through individual 'ports' in the molex connector.

Now am I supposed to pull the connector out, or just route the wires in with it in place?

Can my speaker wire go in paired, or do I have to separate the two wires and route them individually?

There was an ovel shaped hole I used. It was a little hidden but not much.

Used a rather large hole (only one my stuff could fit into). With the door fully open it was a little hard to manipulate the wire bundle to expose that hole, but I did it. Looks like an accessory 'catch-all' hole.

                  Works for me. Thanks guys.

Yeah, I know. Once the threads turn dirty, they stay dirty. Innuendo intended.

I bet if there was some hair around that hole you could find it.

Prefer no hair, not there. If there's hair it's just more proof of this hackjob.
