So only when the radio is on I get an extremely annoying buzzing from the left front tweeter. It changes frequency along with the RPMs, which is pretty weird. What is my best bet in getting an aftermarket replacement set? Will this fix the buzzing? Thanks!

It is not the speaker itself.
Tell us more about what is in your car, stereo-wise.
I got the car the way it is. It has a Pyle head unit I believe or something of similar de-value. Very cheap. The LED display is all scrambled.
I'm not sure if all of the speakers are stock but I'm almost positive they are. I'm wondering if I had another head unit put in if it would fix the problem?

Check and see if you have the factory amp.
It will be in the trunk, under the left side cover, near the antenna.
If you have it, you can bypass it. I would be willing to bet you do have it, and a fresh install of that POS deck will sound 100% better, and fix the whine.
If you can swing a new deck, check out the Pioneer DEH-P5000u. I am rocking one right now, getting ready to use a 60GB laptop hard drive in a USB housing.
Nice looks, 3 preouts, USB, simply display, decent remote, etc. $188 at WalMart.

What about a short on one of the tweeter's speaker leads? One of them may be grounding. Had that happen to me before on the kick panels... I hate speakers in the e30 kicks."A good memory for quotes combined with a poor memory for attribution can lead to a false sense of originality."
