    Stereo upgrade. Looking for opinions

My car I picked up came with a Blaupunkt MP33 headunit and stock non premium speakers. They dont sound very good to me and the headunit is very slow to load a CD.

I have a Jeep that has an Alpine headunit with Ipod controls, xm, a regular input like a headphone jack and a mp3 cd player. I have it hooked up to 2 alpine amps, a 4x40watt going to 4 5.25 JL TR speakers and a 600 watt amp powering an enclosed 10inch sub hidden in the sidewall. It looks factory and sounds great to me.

I was thinking about building a similar system for the BMW like the one in my jeep but I think I will get other opinions first. Does anyone have any particular speakers/subs/headunits they recomend? The car is very clean and stock and I would like to keep it that way for the most part. I was thinking about starting with JL TR 5.25 coaxials in the back and JL components in the front with a IS tweeter mount and another alpine headunit. I'l start with that and can add amps/subs later if I decide its necessary.

    What does everyone think?

I'm thinking about the Clarion DXZ785USB

It's Black with White buttons and it also has 728 variable colors for the face and button lights, so you can match it to the BMW amber color.

It has USB, iPod controller, Satellite ready, plays MP3's, etc...
