Odometer gears...

Well, my odometer gears finally croaked today. I found the Odometer Gears website and was not exactly sure which gears I need to order. Does anyone know which gears I need to order for a US VDO unit for a 325i?

You need to take your cluster apart and find out for yourself. There are a number of gears that can be broken, and those gears are so expensive that you wouldn't want to guess wrong.

Yeah, I noticed they were something like $25 a piece for certain gears. I'll remove the cluster this weekend and have a look.

They have the #'s on the gears. But i would replace them all. I had to rebuild my cluster 3 times cause as soon as i replace a gear the older connected to it got chewed up. Take um all out and replace the ones that are squishy or you can bend.
