    removing stock tweeter

the triangular housing just snaps in and out correct.

after i get that out, whats the best procedure for removing the stock tweeter and grill?

i've got all the stuff ready for my instal,l so tomorrow i will wire the speakers and hopefully do the tweeters, then i just need to finish my speaker pods, which are taking forever.

also what do i use to hold the new tweeters in place? the fit looks to be pretty good.

Use something pointy and strong and pry off the metal mesh. Its held in by very small amounts of 10+ year old glue. It will come off easy.

If your not planning to keep the stock tweeters (which I assume) just push the tweeters from the center (front area, what the mesh covers) out towards the rear.

I used a glue gun to hold the tweeters in. You can use silicone or epoxy too, just make sure it cures.
I dremeled off the metal screen on my tweeters to allow them to be mounted how the stock tweeters where. Then I reused the stock screens with a slick half-drop of super glue.

    Hope this helps
