Wich One is The Memory Wire?

So I wired in my Clarion DXZ845MC and it works great as usual. Only problem is I don't know which wire in a 91 318i is the memory wire. So everytime I get in, my deck resets itself.

I know somebody has to know. Please share.

    Thanks

I'm sure you are talking about a constant 12v source?

yeah, that would be it i believe. as long as it doesn't make the radio stay on when the car is off, then yes.

Well - break out your multimeter or test light. If all else fails you can tap into the cig lighter wire.

$15 at walmart will get you a multimeter. Once you have one, you be a lot less shy about a cars wiring.

              I have a Fluke 88. And i still suck.

I guess it's like a cripple buying a Ferrari. It still won't make you drive like Schumi.

Easiest constant 12v to find is the cigarette lighter....

White wire from the car is power antenna, goes to either blue or blue/white.
