e39 window switches

anyone have wiring diagrams for e39 center console power window switches. found some at a junkyard and i like them better then e30 switches, but colors on wires dont exactly match up.

it has four wires, red, brown, white-brown, and a white-black. i have tried putting the red with the e30 green, the brown with the two browns and the white-black with the purple, which made the switch light up but that is about all. suggestions? i know one of these wires has to be the one-touch control module wire so i wont be using that one. but what do i do with the extra e30 white-black wire?

try the e30 green with the white black and the e30 purple to the red

You shouldnt put those switches, the wires are too thin and they prob wont work without a one touch unit. You should get some older e36 switches with bigger base.

wow geez is anyone else surprised to hear there are E39s in junkyards now?!

No. At the BMW/Merc/Volvo junkyard I used to work at there were ALWAYS at least 5-6 E39's getting junked. We also had a number of E46's.
