    Car leaks electricity, need help/advice

Allright, so my car kills batteries. I finally figured out that something is drawing about 220 mA when the car is turned off. (sheesh, it took me a year)

Poking around in the fusebox, I saw that the draw went from 220 to 30 mA when I took out Fuse 21, which provides power to most of the interior accessories.

Taking out the radio while keeping fuse 21 in took the draw down to 92 mA.

I'm sort of stumped as to what's next. I can't really do much about the radio taking 100 mA to remember my stations, can I?

I started pulling out the front center console to look under the hvac panel and possibly fix any wiring faults, but I failed at removing it. I took out the big nut at the back of the console, and the little annoying screw, but the console still won't come out. Is there a trick to it?

    TIA,
    kronus

hvac panel should ahve 4 screws, two where the buttons are at the top and two under neath one on each side. when those are taken off. Then you need to unclip the hvac adjusters, by first pulilng the adjusters pretty hard and it should pop out, then take a pick and pull out the cover underneath the button, you will discover 4 screws, undo the 4 screws your hvac panel should come right out. So..... 2 on top near button, 2 on bottom , 4 near the hvac adjusters. thats 8 total. after you pull it out, you will need to disconnect either OBC if you ahve it, and fan adjsuter plug

obc memory would draw current as well, as it ahs memory setting. Check the gruonding for all the interior lights, and trunk lights first. It could be the trunk light, there is a button there that shuts the light off when the trunk is closed if its stuck in on position, it woudl draw quite some current. I would first check the interior lights that actually requires to you plug in fuse type bulbs, and check their ground, and make sure the ligths are good. before trying to mess with teh wires.

The trunk light is not the issue... (I accidentally shorted it yesterday .__.) The trunk closed sensor works properly and cuts the trunk light off, though.

So I need to take out the HVAC panel before I take out the center console?

Got the center console out. I decided to either fix or completely delete the alarm system that's in there right now and doesn't work. The install looks pretty thorough, though. There's lots of wires electrical-taped together and zip-tied together.

Next stupid question: how do I get the ECU out? There is a screw on the left (when looking up at the center console) that I can get to, but the screw on the right is between the ECU and the side of the car, and I can't get to it.
