Can i ground my amp on my battery?

Wiring up my amp today, a friend said i shouldn't ground my amp on my battery (-) terminal, another friend said its fine.

what could it possibly do?

mine is. has been for over a year. no problem.

its not bad, but it save you wire if you just ground it to the body.

I grounded mine where the antena is grounded, i just screwd it on with that

Mine is on the battery ground as well... no problems so far
