can anyone direct me to where i need to go to remove my headunit to replace it. i noticed there was a screw to the right of the steering wheel to the left of the headunit, is that the one i need to remove or is there a diff one?

There are two small "flaps" on the front of the stereo. Flip them up to reveal two pentagon-headed screws. The right sized allen wrench will turn them enough to remove the head unit.
