    Gauge Cluster Problem

On my new bronzit the gauge cluster had some issues. The speedometer worked fine. But the Gas, Temperature, and RPMs however did not. So I installed a the cluster gauge out of the alpine that I knew worked Perfect. The fuses were checked and none were broken. When I start the car the gas and RPMs shoot up for a brief second and then fall right back down. Also the ABS light are not working and I replaced the bulbs with a new one. Anyone have any advice or has anyone had this same problem that could help me out? Sorry for any spelling errors in a bit of a rush.

Any chance you figured out what was wrong with your instrument cluster? I'm having the same problem. Thought it was the ignition switch, but that didn't work.

    Thanks!

in case you didn't find the cure, I did on e30Tech. Check your fuse 10 and if it's blown then it's your reverse lights wiring shorting out your cluster. Ck the wiring coming up through your shifter area for the short. Fixed mine today and very pleased....good luck!
