Earl Zausmer...oh yeah. B&W or KEF drivers, Milbert amps, ohyeahohyeahohyeah...if I only had the money.

This is the 10 sided box that I built for a single 12 ported (yes I said 10 sided)and it fits in the spare tire well.

Not finished yet but you get the idea

And yes I work with Luke (stereoinstaller1)

Oh no you diiiii'nt (E34 content)

    I am working on a '93 540iT.

The guy is a complete dick, (OK, not a dick at all, but his identity is secret!) but wants the best sound I can do without spending a bazillion dollars, or a billion hours.

The issue, as with damn near all BMWs, is front stage/midbass.

I have an old set of seriously badass Phoenix Gold ZPA160 drivers. These are actual MADE IN THE USA speakers, from back in the glory days of PG. They are in really nice condition, but they have a few scratches on the back sticker:

As far as compared to stock:

So this is just a teaser thread on what I am doing to this poor old touring.

I am building MDF baffles to mount the speakers to, recessing them into the factory locations, then dynamatting the metal of the panel behind the speaker.

I sure wish E30s had this kind of space!

Working...
