So my SI board took a crap on me not too long ago, the batteries crapped out. Not really a problem, until the batteries got completely fucked. At that point the Oil Service came on and the yellow and red lights came on. The yellow and red stayed on all the time, even when the car was off. Anyway, this disabled my economy meter and my tach. I went down to the local auto salvage yard, and yanked a guage cluster out of a car and took it apart. When I pulled it open, I found a basically brand new SI board. I took it to the counter, and they asked "is this a computer?" to which i replied "no, i think it makes the gauges light up or something." They charged me 5 bucks, and with tax it came to $6.43. $160 part for less than 7 dollars. Win.
Anyway, if someone here knows how to remanufacture these, and wants to pay the shipping or come pick up the core, let me know.
EDIT: The board I pulled out of my car is a ProgRama board
