i was thinking of cutting two 10" holes in the metal trunk panel, then firing the subs through the back seat. I already have the two tens is the thing. On the other hand, I also already have a single 12" sub i could fire through the ski passthrough, but i kind of like the sound of two tens more than a single 12. my seats are vinyl, anyone else do this? would it be better to cut ports in the rear deck and fire them upwards? I dont want a ported box, i strongly prefer the sound of sealed boxes set up at about 2x the recommended enclosure volume from the manufacturer. in this case it would be a 3cu foot box for the 10s or a single 12"... can i get some pics of various sub installs and subjective reports about the results? thanks in advance!

did you have leather or perforated vinyl? Im thinking the vinyl would transmit more sound as the leather seems to be THICK. someone told me its thick buffalo hides, as that was BMW practice in the 80s... i might make a trunk rattler in a sealed box firing upwards toward a grilled opening in the package shelf. maybe maybe...
