short somewhere?

i have a 89 325is with upgraded sound system, i blew a fuse so i changed it and it blew again, so i have a short somewhere, i turned off my head unit and used another fuse and it blew. my rpm tach, headunit, interior lights and onboard computer/clock is all out anyone have any ideas from where? im going to get it looked at soon but i would appreciate suggestions. also my blinkers are going out, it will blink sometimes then slowly blink again and then wont work. i heard meybe the flasher?
