It's said that some hondas this actually helps a tiny bit. It's been cover on here before. I think it's called "upgrading the big three" or something like that. Don't bother with it for our cars. Just make sure you have a good ground strap to your block, and your battery terminals are clean.

          That is some silly crap...

It's true that an alternator can grab up a lot of HP and ECUs work better with clean current.

But if more grounds does help... There was something wrong in the first place.

Add this to the list with: Magnets on the fuel line, A resistor in the Temp sensor circuit, and a Propeller in the induction boot.

I hate all the silly stuff people try to sell. Extra grounds?

Thanks, interesting thread, I was curious about these grounding kits.

I made my own on two previous cars, the Jetta came back to life after a couple of ground wires and the e30 325e was no better for it. I understand that cars have ground straps in place but if you have corrosion in the 21 ear old original straps there might be some benefit from new ground cables. I will not spend $150 on a set when you can buy 0 gauge cables and connectors for under $20 bucks. I was looking to replace the battery ground cable in my car as it is not the original and it looks like crap when I found this Uber ground.

I think it's always good to grind the surface down to bare metal where the anchor points for the DIY groundstraps. After, a good method for anticorosion protection is using that funny red battery spray in a can.
