    Bass Shakers on closeout

If any of you guys are interested in Bass Shakers, they are on closeout at madisound: http://www.madisound.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=1667

Personally, I don't like them, except as couch shakers for Home Theater, but for this price, WTF?

I've never heard of these Luke? So they basically make it seem like you have more bass? I guess it could make the movie experience more "real"?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

no they make it "feel" like there is more bass. they simply vibrate to give the illusion that the bass is louder. if that makes any sense. kind of like vibrating controllers for a video game system.

Mount it to your passenger seat to get the slims slippery.

Those things are such a joke (in a car any way) they make it sound like you have a woodpecker beating the underside of your car.

          Not much power handling either.

ive sat in a car with these under the seats, actually bolted to the floor i believe, and they made a pretty big difference in the amount of bass you perceive. theyre not supposed to replace a sub system, but augment it. the reason why they dont handle much power is because you dont need much power to run them. too bad im strapped for cash (as usual) or i might snatch up a pair...

I did a chunk of 2X6 attached to the frame of a couch and did 2 of them, running off of a cheesy little Technics receiver, run from the sub outs of the HT reciever.

                LOADS of fun!

I have one of these for the PS3. Adds more to a game IMHO. If I ever built a home stereo system again I would go with something like this as well. Wouldn't really want this in a car however...
