    Need basic audio advice.

Recently I have been really wanting a better system in my e30. I happened to find a sub and amp for relatively cheap. I haven't purchased them yet, but this is partially the reason i'm asking for advice.

Well that's the sub and amp combo, i've been looking at, but not sure if the amp is right or what have you.

Next, in the car I have mb quart components in the front and I believe alpine speakers on the rear deck. What would be a good amp to use for those speakers. And if it makes any difference the deck I will be running will be a alpine 7894. So any advice you guys can give me would be great, and i'm really not looking to spend a fortune, I don't need everything to be top of the line, just nice and function well.

That amp will work with the sub. You'll want to pick up a 4 gauge, dual amp kit to run both amps.

As for the other amp if you want to stay with the Kenwood theme, look at the Kenwood KAC-8404. It is a 4-channel, so you have options. How you hook it up IMO depends on your front speakers...if you have MB's that want lots of power, bridge the amp to 2 channels and run just the fronts on the amp with the rears running off of the deck. If you have lower end (and thus lower power handling) MB Quarts, run it as a 4-channel with fronts and rears running off the amp.

    Hope that helps..

Deff thanks for the help. I'm not so worried about the Kenwood theme, just more so a good product for a decent price.
