possible to buy BECKER in North America?

i just fell on becker head units while searching for a replacement system for my e30. i also fell in love with them.

but how do i get one of these on the west side of the atlantic?

seems like they only supplied the older cassette decks for MB.

i hit up ebay.de, they gots em but for 350 euros! ouch. too bad they dont think the american market is worth it, it would surely be more affordable if it sold over here.

That deck is a newer model of beckers cdr220, those headunits came OEM in tons of higher end european cars like porsche and ferrari, and i believe some ford domestics as well as a option.

Harman Kardon sells the previous model under their brand in the US under the name of TrafficPro. The might also have this newer version as well. Its a slick GPS deck with turn by turn directions built in. Ive also always wanted one, but never got around to it.

Give them a call. They have an office here in the US.
I spoke with them about a year ago about buying a Traffic Pro for my M3.
I didn't keep their number but a GIS should produce it.
