    E30 Sound Sytem Upgrade Help

    hello

    From what i have read here, the convertibles dont do well with bass and subs. I enjoy bass in my music, and being a teenager enjoying playing my music loud. But not obnoxiously loud.

    What would you recommend for a sub install and amp as well as speaker upgrades. I have a Pioneer DEH 7600mp deck.

    Im looking to spend about 400-500. I will build the box myself

      Do you want to keep your back seat? At this point yanking it is about the only way to get strong bass in a vert.

          2 8 inchers customized into the middle of the seat? Seen it done before but a lot of fabrication is needed.

              i would like to keep the back seat and keep the installation pretty simple. If i was to put 2 12" subs pushing about 400 watts each would that be able to overcome the bass absorbed by the convertible?
