I have no idea what the ID code for the standard e34 deck is, but will it work easily with the E30 harness? I pulled a working one today and want to put something stockish back into the car.

It's the problematic Pioneer KE-91 that you're thinking of. They're victim to a number of problems that include the audio cutting in and out. I'm not sure about fitment in E30's, but I'd say that the C33/C43 is a much better alternative.

Yup, that's the one. Thanks for the info. I got it for $5, though, so I figured it was worth a try. The other one in the e34 has never had any issues, though, so go figure...Comment
