Problem with my stock radio

Why does my stock radio reset itself every time I turn the car off? It's rather annoying putting in the code every time...please help. Thank you in advance,

If your tachometer/ trunk light/ mpg gauge are also not working you may have blown a fuse. Did this just start recently?
Check your fuses first and make sure. The radio runs off of fuses 12/ 21/ and 28

Thanks for the reply. I actually just got the car yesterday and I'm trying to sort out the little quirks. I feel silly because I checked the radio fuse and that was fun. Not unti i read your reply did I realized there was a separate fuse for the radio memory. Thanks!
