    Hey Luke............

I shot you a PM about this - but no response yet.

One of my tweeters is going haywire. I've traced it down to being inside the weeter - no connections or wiring or anything like that. If I hi a good bump it will get all unclear and fuzzy. If I hit another bump or whack it or something it will go back to sounding clear. Should I bother trying to pop it open or just find another tweeter?

If I was going to buy another set - what are the best tweeters I can buy?

if you can pop it appart easily take a look at it. to me it sounds like you may have a tensil lead comming loose from the soder joint. if you are good at it you can fix it pretty easily

Yeah, I would go with what Greg said. Pop it apart and check it.

If it gives you any more shit, contact Exile, ship the bastard back adn get a new one. You are still under warranty!

It's completely dead BTW. I pulled it apart yesterday and took it apart - no bad solder joints or anything. I think what I'm going to do it buy some mids and mount them in the kick panels - buy one new tweeter and put it back on the pass side.

Luke - do you think it would be a bad idea to put another set of components in the back seat somewhere?
