Alpine deck, MB Quart speakers, a/d/s amp/crossover

I've got some questions since I'm a total ICE n00b.

I just bought a Audi 90 Quattro fairly cheap, and it came with what seems to be a pretty decent sound system. I know everything isn't wired completely correctly at the moment, but here's what it has installed now:

    -Alpine CDM-7861 deck
    -a/d/s PH-15 amp & a/d/s 642CSi crossover mounted together in a wood panel
-MB Quart QM 130 TC speakers
-2 a/d/s S10 subs mounted so they fire up, into the rear deck behind the seats.

All I could find online about the Alpine deck was that it can be bought new for $200 or so and it's fairly decent. I couldn't find too much about the amp/crossover, except being mentioned on a few car audio forums and that they've been around a while. I couldn't find much on the subs. One place listed the "S10" as just a speaker, and something like "SM10" as a sub. I was a little confused about that. I looked on the MB Quart site, and I found a QM line of speaker, and ones in a different line designed "130", but no "QM 130 TC."

So guys, know anything about this set-up? The Audi is a temporary daily driver/road trip car/winter beater, but I'll probably be keeping the sound system and I'd like to know as much about it as possible. Thanks ahead of time.

That is an AWESOME amp and crossover combo. The PH-15 is probably one of the best sounding 6-channel amps ever produced. The amp was probably about $600 or so back in 1992. a/d/s/ used to be one of the primo car audio manufacturers (they've been going downhill a bit since they were aquired by DEI). I believe it's (under)rated at 60watts rms X 6 channels at 4 ohms. And that crossover is a perfect match due to the lack of built in crossover on the PH-15.

Thanks for the reply Ken. It's good to know I'm starting off with a good amp basically for free.

Anyone else know anything about the subs or speakers?
