is there any way you can stop the background from automatically changing colors. it goes from a black display to blue, regardless of which actual background i have it set on. i just want it to stay on the black with the blue font, at night when it swaps to the blue with black font it gets too bright and is very distracting.

There is no way to turn that "feature" off.
None of the new ones do it.
