    Speaker suggestions for stock locations/grills?

Does anyone know of good coax or component speakers that will fit in the stock locations and behind the stock grills? I'd like to preserve the look of the interior as much as possible, but my fronts are blown.

    TIA

There are zillions of choices out there, just make sure the tweeter does not protrude.

Personally, the best performing coax I think is worth the money is the Memphis MSync.

My question is why would anyone do the co-ax in front when the Premium sound tweeters locations work so much better, and can be had pretty cheap.

Yeah, I wanted to go with components if possible. The woofers won't be an issue since they won't protrude from the opening (like coax's would because of the tweeter), however I'd like to keep the tweeters in the same spot as well. I'm not sure what size the pods in front are, they appear to be smaller than 1" which is the common size. In the back, if I pop off the grills the tweeters are pretty flush which concerns me although I haven't taken them out to see what kind of cup (if any) is back there.

I guess what I was looking for is someone that had managed to place a set in the stock locations/grills and could recommend something to me. I don't have specs on the stock enclosures so I'm kind of guessing which I don't like to do. The only thing I really know is the stockers seem to be an odd size, although I think I'd be able to squeeze 5&1/4's in there.

The stock PS enclosures are normal 5.25" speakers, the tweeters are a bit odd, but most these days fit fine, with normal mods.

        Easy stuff, man!

Ok, thanks for the input. I guess it all just looks stranger than it really is. I'm used to the mid 90's US/JP cars with the standard 6&1/2 in the front and 6x9's in the back. lol

I'm sure I can make whatever I get work =)
