Fool CD Changer Input

I'm wanting to be able to hook my MP3 player up to my Panasonic HU through the CD-In RCA's on the back. I know the HU won't recognize that there is anything there unless it receives a signal from an actual CD changer. Anyone know of a way to get around this?

and ironically enough, he used the same HU I have. Problem is, the website hasn't been updated in a long time. I sent him and email, but don't expect a reply.

So I just got an email from that guy. He still makes them apparently, so I'm just going to go that route.
