Lol, no, never got around to this. Ended up selling my E30 before moving out here to NJ.
I still have the e3.6's though. I'm actualy using one to put under the rear seat of my bro's e28. Can't wait to hear it!

shouldnt be any wires under the heatercore, cut so that you can pull it out from the steering coloumn and behind the heater core cut it as close to the middle from the passenger side as you can.
That way you can shove it back in when u have to and the most nuggeted side will be the passenger.
Least thats how i did it the first time. Second time i didnt cut it then i got pissed off when i tried to put it in without cutting and cut it dodgily so sorta wrecked that carpet lolLeave a comment:

Did you ever finish this build? Curious how those eD woofers worked out.Leave a comment:

Hey Will. Thanks, hopefully they don't burn up, but I should be ok.
Finished the guibo last night, BTW, so now it's time for interior removal and lay some sound deadening and wires.
I'll have a grinding wheel and POR-15 in case I come across any surface rust once i pull the carpet.
One question. When i am cutting the carpet around the heater core, is there anything I need to worry about underneath or can i just cut away?Leave a comment:

Just saw this thread, looking good. FYI, the front premiums are rated at 40w.Leave a comment:

I've had a not so good experience with my ED sub...I had an 8 which died a year into it, I ended up replacing it with a JL 8wo...but your setup looks go to be good Brew...now lets see pictures. :)Leave a comment:

Sounds like it's going to be a great setup! Can't wait to see a finished product.I ran all of my speaker wires and RCAs along the drivers side under the carpet like the stock position. Make sure NOT to run any of your lines including power anywhere near the transmission tunnel or anything like that, lots of interference to come if you do.Leave a comment:

ED rules, awesome stand up company with great products. They are a boutique manufacture who doesnt wana get huge which is a very good thing imo. I have there 13a3 in my truck and have had 12 k's 10 k's 8a.1's and a whole bunch more and was never let down by there equipment.
Back in the day the alpine set up would have been well north of 3k I believe just wish I could have heard it in action before I let them go.Leave a comment:

Sweet, glad you like. I wanted to go as old as possible, while still keeping a rotary volume knob, I just wasn't expecting to find such a high end unit.
Yeah, right from their website. Paypal'd on Monday, On FedEx truck by Tuesday morning, and delivered yesterday.Leave a comment:
