head unit went blank, buttons don't work

so i was listening to some music sort of loud. i turned the car off. came back a few hours later turned it on, only to find that non of the buttons worked and that i couldn't turn it off and the volume was way up and it would have sucked to have to drive like that. any ideas, or is the old girl dead?

under warranty on a 7 year old head unit, riiight. The damn thing lasted that long so i can't complain and i didn't have to pay for it so i guess its not that big of a deal.

so um i need a new headunit. I have focal 3 ways up front and 2 tens in the back, for whatever thats worth. Money isn't much of an issue

Pull it out, and unplug it. Let it sit for a bit, then plug it back in. Sometimes shit needs to be reset.
