I put the check control from my wrecked euro-spec into my replacement american e30 *both mb2025* as a little ode to the wrecked car also it was the language is italian...today I went outside and was just testing the check controls I have for sale and when I put the american check controls it showed that I needed oil in my car....when I put back in the euro one it said that I didn't need oil (the oil light does function properly when button pressed)....so I went to check the oil and I was low....so my question is, is there a difference between the two check panels? Are they programmed different?
BTW the euro check panel has indicated low oil before when changing oil and so on so I doubt its malfunctioning
