    Sensors for aftermarket gauges

    I bought 3 gauges (battery voltage, oil pressure & oil temp) with sensors for temp and pressure and my question is where to install the both sensors for correct measuring, i'm talking about M42 and M50B25 engines in my E30

    its fairly common to tap the oil filter housing for these two items. Run the line to a distribution block where you can place your sensors.

      for the m50, trm sells an adapter that goes where your stock pressure switch is. the adapter has 2 1/8" npt ports for aftermarket senders, and a spot for the factory sender.

        listen to this I didn't realize you were talking about an m50
