    Quick coax recommedation?

Im in serious need of some better sound in my DD, but dont have the cash on hand to do a full sound overhaul, so I have a deck, im gonna rewire, and throw some coax's in the stock location for a few months. Ive been out of the audio scene for a while, so Im looking for a recommendation on some cheap coax's. Would like to keep it under 120 for all 4 :D

    Thanks
    Brian

I seriously doubt that new coaxials will bring improvement to your sound. And what is wrong with what you have now ... and what do you have now?

Um well, im pretty sure i have stock premium in the rear with a one blown mid. The HU is wired incorrectly so there is almost no sound from the fronts. Im pretty sure some cheap-esq coax's, that are wired correctly will sound better than what I do have.

Brian, I think you will get more for your buck if you found stock premium speakers, used bass blockers (nothing more than a single cap) and get a small 4 channel amp. Spring for a small sub if you can afford one.

Add a small sub and a 4 channel amp. Use half of the amp on the sub, the other half on the fronts, in high pass.

Later, when you have more money, buy one of my boxes fro the sub. That will basically be the same as getting literally 10X the power in bass.

If you eventually get tired of that, add a dedicated bass amp and use the 4 channel for front and rear.

E30s have a HUGE rear bias due to the retard who did typical German "Afterthought Audio", which ALL german cars before about 2005 have...the front locations suck balls on these cars, so you need 10X as much power as the rears have.

            So how bout something like
            Infinity Ref 5020cs front
What about for rear and a 10" sub?
            Amp reccomendations?

I can build a box, and wire everything easily enough, i just need a lil guidance.

            Thanks

            Brian

              I'd stay away from Infinity.

brand preference is up to the individual as all ears receive sound differently. with speakers its not a "this brand is the best so i should get it". it can differentiate between individuals.
