I have the Clarion and it's loaded with features and the illumination/lighting is adjustable to match the BMW Amber.

Some people don't like the HU looks, but I think it looks fine.

I would take the Clarion over the Pioneer based on features and customizable illumination.

Having Amber illumination was one of my requirements for a new HU, along with other requirements which the Clarion met and surpassed and at a great price.
