    Convertible Speaker Pods

    Hey all, I know this is a topic that comes up from time to time, but I haven't found any search result that really fits my needs. Does anyone make front speaker pods for the E30 Convertible? I have seen these, http://www.audiosport.co.uk/bmw-e30-...ds?keyword=e30 but I would like something for an additional mid range speaker a little higher up from the map pocket. I really don't want to cut into the door card if at all avoidable. With the 3D printers or anyone who works in composites, has anything been created similar to this here in the US? What is out there?

      Likely nothing for a mid upper pod. I have the Audiosport pods. To do it right, they still require cutting of door panels. I cut a hole so speaker can breathe into door cavity. Additionally, I used 3 studs through door skin/panel to clamp the pods rigidly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am afraid that it will come down to cutting the door panels, but I just cant do it. I will probably have to take the car somewhere and pay a disinterested party to do it ... I just cant ...
