    Trying to re-install factory radio

Its quite a bit of a hack job underneath that dash.

i figured out power to the radio as well as remote.

what i have left is the speakers...

    Wires i have left

    i have two brn/ylw
    i have two Blu/gry
    blu/blk
    blu/red
    ylw/red
    ykw/blk
    ...Confused a bit

theres obviously a pattern... any one have the insight to figure it out...

also ill have a nice black clarion with led's that pretty much match aux port for ipod and a bunch of other connectivity, i think xm capable... it will be for sale so pm me if interested

        1. what year is your car?
        2. What year is your deck?
        3. Premium sound?
        4. Amp still wired in?

Yellow is right, blue is left, black stripes and red stripes are positive (red=front, IIRC) and don'rt forget to use white to turn the amp on if it is there.

Brown/orange is typically amp signal ground.

        GL!

ok, the car is a 88is, the deck is from an 87is. The amp is still wired in and if premium sound has the rear deck tweeters and kickers then yes both of them had it... however! the PO had jerry rigged the old HU to new speakers in the kicker. cut up all the wires even tho wasnt necessary. he also had removed the fader switch... so now im grid locked. i have to undo what i established to incorporate the fader. :/ however what you have told me is a god (re)start

You might wanna just find a later deck with 4 outputs and not have to fuck with the fader.
