Mounting spots for front crossover box.

Where do you guys mount your crossovers boxes for components? In the trunk or in the doors? I don't see a spot in the door to mount them. Thanks in advance.

Install them where ever you'd like to. There isn't really much room up front, but I helped Brent (bhadole) install a set of components and we screwed them into the kickpanels.

Mine are in the trunk (which requires a lot more speaker cable):

My driver's one is up underneath the steering column, and the other is in the passenger kickpanel.

I ended up using double-sided tape, and mounting it to the bosch unit on the driver side (nice flat surface) and in the glovebox on the passenger side. Only have the fronts in, but even just running off the deck (CDA-9831) I am really happy. Nice to finally have the ability to play CD's!

Before I forget, can the remote turn-on wire turn on more than one amp?

i ran one wire to one amp, and then from that amp to the other, instead of splitting the wire.

My driver's side is crammed up in the knee bolster, theres lots of room up there. Passenger side is up in the dash too, I just pushed em in wherever there was room :P

For the remote cable? Who in the hell runs two of them from the deck? You just run it to one of them and then out of the first amp into the second one.

It sounded to me like he was saying run one wire and then split it in two; and have half go to one amp and half go to another.

If you wanna get anal about it, run the remote wire from the HU to a relay in the trunk, and use the relay to turn your shizzle on.
