I don't have an x brace to work with. If I did I may be able to come up with some thing.

the X brace will not fit with the skid plate. That is what stated me on this path.

No, one or the other. My cross brace does the same thing, and will fit my skid plates.

Like I said before weird so what's up with this?

Come to think of it the guy that first brought these up here was banned what's up with that?

First off lets get this straight. The Mason X bar is just a copy of BMW's part, so those that don't wanna step on his toes are funny to say the least. I think Jon does a great job but this is part of the business. Most of the stuff that the big name tuners today such as turner or bimmerworld have just copied what other successfull companies did before them. There isn't too much NEW in the tuner market these days...

so, the label makes the money, not the artist... therefore, if we like the artist we should give our money to the label? maybe you should have thought about that a bit longer, or proofread your post...

tell you what. rather than spending money buying CDs which i might or might not like, i'll download what i want to, delete what i don't like, and support an artist DIRECTLY by going to their show when they're in my area, and sharing their music with other people who might also like it. if you're truly looking out for the best interest of the artist, you should have no problem with that whatsoever; the only guy who gets "hurt" is the unnecessary middle man.

back on topic- the guy restoring my cabrio said chassis flex was "very evident" after the suspension upgrade. i've supported Mason Engineering by picking up original unpirated steel versions of both the strut tower bar and the X-brace. ;)

Is there difference between the steel and aluminum versions other than the weight?

With the steel version would rust be an issue if the powdercoating gets scratched off?
