VERT PROBS help please

so just now i was trying to put down my automatic top and stopped midway im assuming the motors dead, but now the vert cover is stuck up and i cant drive let me know what i can do do tuck it away or put it back up

in your trunk on the right side there should be the motor. i don't remember exactly how but it folds down which disengages it making it a manual top. i think there's a lever or something that disengages it.

Your tool kit should also have a "S"-shaped key (I believe that's the shape). I think it has an allen head which you can insert into the gear of the motor (you need to remove the cover) which you then turn to raise and lower the top.

Let me know whereabouts in LA you are, I know a guy that might be able to fix your top for a very reasonable price.
