Anyone have any experience with new convertible tops sold on ebay?

How is the fitment and do any of them come with instructions for install? I thought I saw some that did years ago.

I bought a German canvas top from qualitytopsandinteriors and had it professionally installed. The new soft top fits great and leak free.

Below is copied from my vert build thread:

Here are pictures of the eBay german cloth top i purchased. Cost was $325USD shipped.

Installation was done by Pacific Auto Trim in Vancouver and I got a nice surprise when Lou handed me the invoice and the cost was only $600 + tax for the install!!

He told me to leave to top up for a week to let the fabric stretch out and all the glue dry before I fold it down for the first time.

After adjusting the passenger side window the glass clears the edge of the top and weatherstripping and seals perfectly.

The thing I've noticed (during my experience with miatas) is that the cheaper tops tend to have problems with the rear plastic windows cracking. Granted, this is only if you decide to put your top down in cold weather a lot.

Wow that looks pretty nice! Has anyone tried installing these on their own?
