Manual top vert lift supports

    Manual top vert lift supports

    So I happened to notice the two(one on either side) lift supports attached to the top, dropping down behind the interior panels. Are these to assist putting the top up or do they serve another purpose? It's kind of a pain in the ass to put the top up and if they make it easier on me, I'd like to replace them.

          I've been wondering the same. I can't see any other purpose for them, but they're a pain to get to. I'll probably replace mine this summer. If you do yours let us know if it has any effect, I'll do the same...
