E82 1M mats in a convertible???

I've seen the topic posted but with no clear answer.

Has anyone tried the e82 1 series mats in an e30 vert?

E30 verts have slightly narrower mats than coupe/sedan/touring cars.

If you have tried it out, please post results.

The fronts are very snug in width on my non-vert especially on the passenger side, so I imagine they will almost be to the point of bending if the foot well is narrower on a vert. The rear mats are definitely not made for e30's due to the all the strange cutouts for the back of the front seats brackets. They do fit, but they do look a little strange in back. I'll be posting pics after work in the e82 1m floor mat thread.

Just got em. Fronts fit well. Rears are ok when turned sideways.

I got 1m e82 coupe mats on ebay for $90 shipped. I know I know. I was late to the dance and missed the $39 sale at eCS.

The flash makes my carpet look a bit odd but it's gray.
The mats are a very very dark gray. I would not call them black per se. Compared to black mats they look a bit lighter.
