did verts ever come in Houndstooth?

I scored some descent e30 sport seats in black/grey houndstooth over the weekend, and the more I look at them the more I kind of want them in my vert.
Trouble is, I don't think BMW made a houndstooth interior for verts...AMIRITE?!

I'm seeing a few of the tartan style plaid on ebay.de and ebay uk, but not the traditional hounstooth...
possible unicorn part if they even exist....
