    Beautiful 320I Convertible

    Hey Guys,

So i Bought my first E30. It is a 1990 320I the serial # indicates it is European.
I'm having a really difficult time finding detail information on this model for some reason. It was originally purchased from someone in Japan, years later someone bought it and had it shipped to Canada and a few owners later it is now in my hands. The car is Super Clean all original! i would say 9/10. Would like your help in possibly providing more information on it, like pros and cons of the model. Not sure how rare this specific model is but i couldn't find anything like it here in Canada. Thanks in advance everyone!

here are a few pictures of it... Click image for larger version

Jesus fuck!!!!! Definitely a euro car. One of the prettiest original examples I have seen. What are the miles?

      Well done.

      Does it have air conditioning?

Most members here will tell you to find a donor car with a larger engine and a manual transmission. That one might be best kept pretty stock.

Fantastic! You have the best combo possible! (early euro model + henna + checkered cloth sport seats + A/C + manual + convertible) It's really hard to come by clean early euro vert that's fully loaded with options (usually you see poverty spec without power options & A/C).

Thanks man. Just seems hard finding info on it online. I would much rather prefer standard but it's auto.can't complain.... the thing drives like a dream! Do you know where I could get some more detail and specs on this 320i ?

Dude, I'm sure whether Euro or US spec, the Auto shifters look the same.
                      That is an Auto.

                        ^^^ I agree.

                        WOULD. NOT. TOUCH. A. THING.

You can probably determine a bunch of basic information by looking for the cylinder head and engine block casting numbers, the tags on the auto trans and rear differential and the tag number on the ECU.

Oh 100% will not touch a thing. All I want to do is get a set of borbert type A. Paint job(same as original) as it is faded. Maybe upgrade the suspension(there is nothing wrong with it currently). Get a hardtop. And if I can find a factory stereo defenitly throw that in.

If you want a hardtop search posts by Ceeker. He is in Canada and currently has a few hardtops available.
