jesus man! really??!!!! this is one of the more ridiculous things i have seen on rev today. just because that is what you would pay, doesn't mean that is the value of the car. believe it or not, e30's cost more than 38 cents these days.
assuming the car is as good as you say it is, it's probably worth well over 10k...with no pics and no more info, it is hard to say though. -
R3v cheapskates out in full force I see.
If the car is as clean as it sounds... $10k is fair. As mentioned... rubber bits and timing belt will need to be replaced asap. Like, tow it home and do that timing belt type of asap.Leave a comment:

its not worth 10K
if it was a manual plastic bumper in a desireable color combo MAYBE
$4k would likely get it w a bit of room to flipLeave a comment:

^agree. And it being an 89 only makes it have elipsoids instead of sealed beams and no airbag.Leave a comment:

you WILL have to replace all the rubber bits. Timing belt needs to be done as well. If exterior and interior is clean, around $10K is a decent offer.Leave a comment:

Correction. It is an 89 not a 90. Not sure if that changes anything.

1990 is a crap looking year. i hate those cars bc they have air bags and big bumpers and small tails. but if you like it, go for it.
here's the kicker.
they shit will leak oil like a mofo. not at first but do 1k in the car and every seal will leak. because the seals have dried out they will wear out and you'll be looking at RMS,front seals, valve guide seal, cam seals, trans seals and water pump timing belt all within the first month of owning it.Leave a comment:

For a true time capsule? It's probably worth $15-20k retail (or twice that at EAG).Leave a comment:

I know how to low ball. But when does the number get too high? What would someone on this forum be willing to pay for such a car at a fair price?

Found Vert Low Miles - How much should I offer?
I work with a guy who's mother apparently has a 1990 325i Convertible Automatic with 26k original miles. It has been in here garage since new and she only drives it once in awhile(obviously). I am trying to see if I can release this from her grasp and need to know what might be a good offer assuming all is as pristine as I can imagine. So what would you pay for a super low mileage always garaged convertible? Any thoughts? I am trying to figure out what a "i don't want to sell it" offer should be. It sounds too good to be true but is true.Tags: None
