Looking for a Convertible roof installer/repair shop in LA area

    Hello all.

Just to see if any one of you guys know of or recommend a person or shop to fix or to install a new roof.

My roof is fine as of now, I guess because it's been parked under a roof for the past twenty some years (I recently bought it from a nice old lady)

I have to put the car out of the garage for cleaning and rubberizing the floor (or whatever you call it) the floor for a few days and I dont intend to find out if my roof leaks, I rather be safe than sorry. The weather has been kinda weird lately and the forecast said it might rain again this week... Know what I mean?

Any and all input is very much appreciated. Thanks.

    Very Respectfully,
    Richie G

Would also like to know as well.

would like first hand, not someone knows who knows someone.

Maybe we can start a sticky on a good installer / shop all of us SoCal guys can use.

why don't you guys try to do it yourself ? There is a detailed DIY for top replacement.

So you'd rather spend $1000 to replace your roof than find out if it leaks? If it does the worst that happens is you rub a towel over the seats. You can even put your car under a tarp if you're really worried

If you do replace your top be sure to replace the tension straps and every single rubber seal on the top and on the windows.. they go bad too

The problem is it adds up quick but there's no point in doing it if you don't replace the whole system

After a while it seems excessive but hey if you have the money, why not right?
