    What makes the vert heavier than the coupe or sedan ?

    Just a guess, the top frame, top boot, extra support rails to stiffen the body.

      I think they used the same technology when developing the Panzer tank, add more metal.

        I got a brochure showing all the added support for a vert, I'll dig around to see if I can find it.

              i sawed one in half once to scrap it out. the metal in the rocker panels is at least 1/16" thick.

                Nice work M3X! I found mine and it shows the transfer tunnel being part of the extra reinforcement. Although mine is a 92 brochure.
