Cover plug holder issues

I sold my hard top and the hard top metal mount. I ordered this per realoem:



However, what I received was this:



Which seems to large for the space.

Any ideas?

After some further manipulation, I got it in, used some small bolts to hold in place and clipped left side over frame.

It is easy to drop down in to door, (which I did). Hard to fish out as well.

these suckers are hard to find, your best bet is from someone thats parting out. i was lucky to find a guy that works for a junk yard in Cali and he hooked me up with all these little parts

I did finally fish them out and get the installed. Purchased from Pelican Parts.
