Great find! I was looking at my stock rear speakers the other day thinking I need new ones.

The magnet looks a lot smaller than the normal E34 speaker upgrade
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

Probably is, these are so easy to find and install and they have tweeters, and are so cheap

I found a set of JVC speakers for the rear that fit nice and sound decent from Crutchfield.

They're about twice the cost, but I've been looking at the Infinity KAPPA52.11i. They're currently $87 on Amazon. I know there is so little depth in rear. That said, Crutchfield says the depth will work. I've read there is 2 5/16" depth and at 2 3/16 it should fit. I just wonder if it's worth the extra money and how it compares to the one above since Rockford's are now known to fit.

i just installed these speakers all around with a vintage zapco ag360 amp and a clarion mcd360 active crossover and it sounds great. could use a bit more bass so ill need to install a sub at some point but overall the difference is amazing.

Put the same ones in my 89 rear panels. Easy fit and much better than most other speakers in the sub-$100 range.
