    Convertible top experts please

    Can anyone tell me what this does exactly? Is it specific to automatic or manual tops? I pulled it out when I first bought the car since the cable was broken. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

      I may be mistaken but pretty sure that is the cable that runs to the trunk lid and stops you from being able to open both the trunk and top cover at the same time
