Two unknown wires found behind my driver side tweeter speaker

Hi everyone,

Can someone please tell me what do the two wires I have in my hand are connected to?

I took off the driver tweeter speaker cover and found these two wires just hanging there unconnected to anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

Dumb question, but was the tweeter connected? Those look like speaker connections to me

The wires at the top of the pic are the ones connected to the speaker. I haven’t looked to see if I have the same wires on the passenger door tweeter speaker yet but will do that this week.

Factory tweeter wiring.

A pair together with one large stripe twisted wire, one small and one larger spade connector means speaker wiring.

My guess would be that your car has non factory tweeters as it looks like someone added a resistor in line to your current setup.
